The artwork produced is in response to a series of creative writing workshops for South Asian LGBTQ+ people where themes of Identity, minority stress and resilience were explored, in relation to lived experiences of participants. These were carried out over Zoom.
The workshops were devised by the playwright and poet Rod Dungate for Birmingham LGBT.
The artwork was produced by Dan Auluk with valuable contributions from the participants. This artwork currently displayed at Birmingham LGBT Centre.
